Our short term plan is to buy the currently leased school facility worth about $200,000, and to assure permanency in the community. The present contract expires in end of 2010 and the landlord is not willing to renew the lease preferring to sell the property. Therefore, searching for the fund to secure the current site is an urgent task. This is where we believe our supporters are called upon to assist.

Our long term plan is to begin the construction of a large and modern facility for a model School (approximate cost $250,000), that consists of six classrooms, a cafeteria, a clinic and a library with a computer lab, that serves our children and the surrounding community. This arrangement will enable students, their parents and the community at large to share the benefits of the organization and develop together.

Our vision in this grass root effort is to replicate this model and build as many schools as resources allow in disadvantaged areas of Ethiopia.
